Welcome back to another The Gundles review. today we are looking at the CVLIFE 6-9 inch rail mounted bi-pod. The only place i have found this for sale is on Amazon.com for around $17.
at first i was a little leery as most of the cheaper bi-pods that I've tried haven't been great in the long term. I decided to give this a try figuring the most i would be out would be $17. I placed the order and a few days later it showed up. It was packaged in a plain brown box the it fit snug in. the only label on the box simply said CVLIFE in large bold letters. It did have a sticker on the lower back side that said 6-9" Picatinny rail mount. that's it.

Opening the box revealed the bi-pod inside of a poly bag. No instructions or warranty card was included. I removed the bi-pod from the bag and was surprised at what i found. Turning it over I found that the finish seemed good and even. Manipulating the leg adjustment buttons i found them stiff but smooth. the clamp is the only thing that was a little odd. If looking at it, it doesn't quite look right, ill touch on this again in a moment.
I mounted the bi-pod to my AR-15 Free-float rail to see how it fit. remember how i said the mount didn't look quite right? Well the mobile part of the clamp sits lower than the fixed half. I was concerned about this and how well it would clamp to the rail.

My concerns seem to be unfounded as it it holds tight and fits every rail i have and holds tight. 350 rounds of 300 Blackout hasn't loosened the clamp at all. The legs lock into place and don't move. i have tried them in every position and am confident in them staying place.

I feel that this needs to be brought up, based on the Amazon reviews i may have just got a good one. That said, the one I received is fantastic! Based on it I would highly recommend it. Is it a top of the line bi-pod, no. Is it a solid no frills get the job done bi-pod, most certainly. I would say buy one, try it.
