Hello and welcome back! today we are looking at the Soft Touch Shooting Glasses from Beretta. These are also listed on Beretta's website as Performance plastic frame shooting Shields. This review will be short, very short and you will find out later why.
They are available in a few different colors but we will be looking at the purple lensed ones today. The purple lens is designed to make orange clays stand out more against a green background. they preform this function fantastically! These are comfortable and fit close to the face and wrap around the sides.
The bad. They are Fragile. They took exactly 1 hit from a piece of flying brass(45ACP) before they cracked at the nose vertically to the brow.

I suppose they did their job but i have a set of cheap safety glasses I picked up at a junk store for $2 that I've dropped a mini sledge hammer on, dropped off a roof and have taken multiple hits from lead splatter and brass and hardly have a mark on them(they have been retired though). For the $16.99 that I paid for the Beretta's, I really expected more. Maybe I just got a defective pair but at this time I do not suggest them.
So, If looking at purchasing them, take a pass and get something different. My current suggestion is the Honeywell S2453, they are about $20 and they are durable!
