Cabela's Corn Cob Media and Polish

welcome back to The Gundles reviews, today we have a quick review on some affordable media for your shinny new tumbler! For the purpose of this review we used the previously reviewed Hornady M-1 tumbler.

i picked up 6 pounds of media the included a bottle of polish from Cabela's. This was suggest to me by a family member but I wanted to get a sample so I only ordered 6 pounds. Packaging was plain, a cardboard box with a Cabela's label on it. When I opened the box I was greeted to a bottle of polish sitting on a heavy duty bag filled with media. plain and simple but it works.

I Filled up the tumbler and dumped 200 cases of 45 ACP in. Now run time will vary depending on number of cases and amount of media in the tumbler. I generally run for 3 hours, but you will have to adjust based on what results your looking for and how dirty your cases are.

The final results are rather impressive, after 3 hours these cases look like new! after 500 rounds of 45 ACP and 1500 rounds of .223 REM, the media is looking pretty bad. its still doing a great job but is obviously cleaning and doing its job. I'll start to watch and when I start to notice a decline in performance I'll toss it and replace.

You can get this media here for $15.99. Please note i do NOT get anything from you clicking the link, it is strictly for your ease of finding the product.

In my opinion this works great and is a good price as it includes the polish. Get some and let me know how it works for you!
